View allA well layered neckline looks like it came together over years, not minutes. The trick is spacing and contrast, and a little patience.
Start with an anchor
Choose one piece as the hero, usually the shortest, and build around it. A fine pendant sitting high is a beautiful anchor.

Space the layers
Leave two to four centimetres between each strand so they read as separate lines. Mixing a delicate chain with a bolder one adds depth.
