Type IIa Purity
We select Type IIa diamonds, characterised by exceptionally low levels of measurable nitrogen impurities within their crystal structure. This represents one of the purest classifications of diamond material.
The Highest Standard Begins at the Source.
At Carbon, we choose CVD-grown diamonds for their exceptional material purity and controlled growth process.
CVD — Chemical Vapour Deposition — allows a diamond crystal to develop layer by layer from carbon, creating a diamond with the same fundamental crystal structure, chemical composition and optical properties as a natural diamond.
While both CVD and HPHT are established methods of creating lab-grown diamonds, Carbon has chosen CVD as our preferred growth technology for the consistency and control it offers during the diamond-growth process.

CVD diamonds are real diamonds, possessing the same essential chemical, physical and optical properties as their natural counterparts.
Technology creates the diamond. Our standards determine which diamonds become Carbon.
